A New Name, the Same Passion for Storytelling: Welcome to Peninsula Story Co.

If you've been following my work over the years, you may notice something a little different.

ValDan Films is now Peninsula Story Co.

While the name is changing, everything you've come to know and expect remains the same. I'm still the owner behind the camera, behind the editing desk, and behind every project. The same passion, attention to detail, and commitment to quality that built Valdan Films will continue under a new name.

So, why the change?

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with incredible couples, businesses, and organizations throughout Upper Michigan. From weddings and family milestones to commercial productions, corporate branding, and creative storytelling, I've been honored to capture moments and create content that reflects the people and communities I call home.

As my business has grown, I wanted the name to better represent the region and the clients I proudly serve.

Peninsula Story Co. is inspired by the place that has shaped so much of my work. Upper Michigan is more than just a location—it's home. It's where stories unfold every day, whether it's a couple celebrating their wedding, a local business sharing its mission, or a company looking to connect with its audience through professional photo and video.

The word Story is just as important.

Photography and videography have always been about more than creating beautiful images. Every wedding, every business, every brand, and every creative project has a story worth telling. My goal has always been to tell those stories in a way that feels authentic, cinematic, and meaningful.

That hasn't changed.

You'll start seeing Peninsula Story Co. on my website, social media, and marketing materials. During the transition, you may still come across the Valdan Films name here and there, but it's still me behind every project.
